Connecting Jetpack to Your WooCommerce App

To receive real-time "Cha-ching" notifications for new orders and view advanced store analytics on your phone, the WooCommerce app requires a Jetpack connection. This acts as a secure bridge between your website and your mobile device.

Why do I need this?

Without Jetpack, the app cannot "push" alerts to your phone. Setting this up ensures you never miss a customer order.

Step-by-Step Connection Guide

  • 1. Create a WordPress.com Account: If you don't have one, visit WordPress.com and create a free account. (You do not need to buy anything).
  • 2. On Your Website: Go to your website dashboard and click the Jetpack menu. Click "Set up Jetpack" and log in with your WordPress.com details.
  • 3. Open the App: On your phone, open the WooCommerce app and choose "Continue with WordPress.com".
  • 4. Authorise: Select your RUSD store from the list and tap Approve.

Verifying Your Setup

Once connected, go to Settings > Notifications within the app. Ensure "New Orders" is toggled ON. You can even test the notification sound here!

Note: Your WordPress.com account is separate from your RUSD billing login. It is used solely to power the mobile sync features.

Stuck on the connection screen? Sometimes security plugins can block the Jetpack bridge. If you see a connection error, open a support ticket and we will whitelist the connection for you.
