Adjusting Store Settings on Mobile
While major design changes are best done on a computer, the WooCommerce app allows you to manage essential operational settings directly from your phone.
Accessing the Settings Menu
To find these options, tap your Store Icon or Profile Picture (usually in the top right or bottom right depending on your version) and select Store Settings.
What You Can Manage
- ???? Notifications: Customise which alerts wake up your phone. You can toggle sounds for new orders, reviews, or stock alerts.
- ???? Tax & Shipping: View your current active zones. Note: You can view these on mobile, but complex rule changes usually require the desktop dashboard.
- ???? Store Information: Update your store name, address, or contact email if your business details change.
- ???? Security: Enable "App Lock" to require a PIN, Fingerprint, or Face ID to open the WooCommerce app.
The "Vacation Mode" Tip
If you need to stop taking orders temporarily, you can use the settings to change your product status to Draft or Private individually, or adjust your store notice text to alert customers of shipping delays.
Important: If a setting isn't appearing in the app, it’s likely because it requires the full power of the WordPress Admin area. For advanced payment gateway or plugin settings, please use your desktop.
