Understanding Domain Status
If your domain shows as "Pending" in the My Domains section, it usually means one of three things:
- 1. Transfer in Progress: If you are moving a domain to us, it can take 5–7 days for the losing registrar to release it.
- 2. Verification Required: Check your email for an ICANN verification link. You must click this to "Verify" your contact details.
- 3. Registration Queue: During busy periods, the registry (Nominet, Verisign, etc.) may take a few hours to process the registration.
If a domain remains pending for more than 24 hours (and it is not a transfer), please open a support ticket.
