Managing Your Posts Effectively
As your website grows, you may need to manage multiple articles at once. WordPress provides powerful tools to filter, search, and bulk-edit your content.
Finding Specific Content
Navigate to Posts > All Posts. Use the tools at the top of the list to find exactly what you need:
- Search Bar: Type keywords in the top-right search box to find specific articles.
- Date Filter: View posts from a specific month or year.
- Category Filter: Narrow your view to only show posts in a specific category (e.g., "News").
Using Bulk Actions
To update multiple posts at once (such as moving 10 posts to a new category):
- 1. Select Posts: Tick the checkboxes next to the posts you want to modify.
- 2. Choose Action: Click the Bulk Actions dropdown menu and select Edit, then click Apply.
- 3. Make Changes: In the bulk-edit menu, you can change categories, tags, authors, or comment status for all selected posts at once.
- 4. Update: Click the blue Update button to save changes across all selected items.
Quick Edit Tip: If you only need to change the title or URL of a single post, hover over the post and click Quick Edit. This lets you make changes without loading the full editor page.
Need to clean up? You can also use Bulk Actions to move multiple posts to the Trash simultaneously to keep your dashboard tidy.
