Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

 

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of all hosting, web design, and digital services provided by RUSD LTD. By utilizing our infrastructure, you agree to absolute compliance with these terms.

1. PROHIBITED DISRUPTIVE ACTIVITIES

Our infrastructure is optimized for 98/100 performance. To maintain this, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Malicious Code: Distribution of malware, viruses, or phishing scripts.
  • Unauthorized Access: Any attempt to circumvent server security, “hacking,” or port scanning.
  • Resource Abuse: Scripting that causes excessive CPU, RAM, or bandwidth spikes that degrade service for other users.
  • Illegal Content: Hosting any material that violates the laws of England and Wales.

2. EMAIL & REPUTATION PROTECTION

RUSD LTD maintains a zero-tolerance stance on messaging abuse:

  • Spam: Sending bulk unsolicited emails via our servers or using our domains is prohibited.
  • 🔴 Blacklist Indemnity: If your actions result in our IP addresses being blacklisted by major providers (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Spamhaus), you will be liable for the administrative costs of removal and may face immediate termination.

3. RESOURCE THROTTLING & STABILITY

To ensure platform stability, RUSD LTD reserves the right to throttle or suspend any service that utilizes “burst” resources beyond reasonable professional limits without prior notice. This includes unoptimized database queries or excessive automated “bot” traffic.

4. ENFORCEMENT & TERMINATION

  • Immediate Action: Serious breaches of this AUP will result in immediate service termination without notice.
  • No Refunds: Any client terminated for an AUP violation forfeits all rights to refunds for remaining service periods.
  • Reporting: Illegal activities will be reported to the relevant UK law enforcement authorities (Action Fraud / National Cyber Security Centre).

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

The account holder is fully responsible for all activity conducted under their domain or hosting space, including actions taken by third-party users or compromised scripts within the client’s control.
