Manage Your Site on the Go
Want to upload a photo, check comments, or fix a typo while away from your desk? The WordPress app allows you to manage your RUSD website directly from your smartphone or tablet.
Step 1: Download the App
Search for "WordPress" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install the official app (developed by Automattic).
Step 2: Connect Your RUSD Site
- 1. Log In: Open the app and select "Enter your existing site address".
- 2. URL: Type in your full domain (e.g.,
https://www.yourdomain.com). - 3. Credentials: Enter the same Username and Password you use to log in on your computer.
- 4. Connect: Tap Continue to sync your dashboard.
What can you do in the app?
- Write Posts: Draft blog posts or news updates from anywhere.
- Upload Photos: Take a photo on your phone and upload it directly to your Media Library.
- View Stats: Monitor your site traffic and visitor numbers in real-time.
- Notifications: Get alerts for new comments or contact form entries.
RUSD Tip: While the app is great for text and photos, we recommend using a desktop/laptop for complex layout changes or editing with Elementor.
Security Note: Always enable "App Lock" (FaceID or PIN) within the WordPress app settings to keep your website access secure if you lose your phone.
